OVERVIEW
Summit is a psychological thriller film that follows a group of college graduates on their journey up a mountain in search of a higher power. The beauty of the natural world being corrupted by humans' lack of morals is visually represented through technological glitching of footage of nature scenes such as mountain ranges, forests, flower fields, and waterfalls. When paired with eerie instrumentals and harsh color correction, the title sequence is taken from serene to chaotic, reflecting the plot of the new film.
